Maine Revenue Check Window Envelopes (E-106)
Envelope Size: 4-1/8" x 9-1/2",
Window Size: 1-1/8" x 4-1/2", Window to be Positioned 1-3/4" from left side and 13/16"
from bottom. Back flap must be 1.5 inch and must be rounded with no sharp edges.
To be printed two sides, black ink on 24 lb. white wove recycled stock. Envelope must
have diagonal seams. To have black inside tint and clear poly window.
Sample supplied is actual envelope (see scanned PDF copy attached for reference).
Actual envelope will be mailed to successful vendor upon award.
These envelopes will be used on a continuous mailing system. Window material must be
bonded but not over-glued. Back flap must have good gluing agent, but not excessive
causing envelopes to stick together.
Envelopes are to be packaged 500 per box, 2500 per case, for a total of 600,000
envelopes (240 cases). Price is per case.
Overrun not to exceed 3%.
Delivery: Vendor to deliver in three-four shipments over a 12-18-month time period. Need first shipment of approx. 180,000 envelopes (32 cases) will not need to be delivered to the State Postal Center until notified by Office of the State Treasurer.
Vendor to store balance and ship upon request of the State Treasurer's Office.
All shipping and storage costs are to be included in total price.
Vendor to invoice the Office of the State Treasurer per each shipment.
