This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is neither a solicitation announcement nor a Request for Quote (RFQ) and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Request for a solicitation will not receive a response. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make the appropriate acquisition decision(s) and to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources.
The USDA-ARS, National Cold Water Marine Aquaculture Center, Franklin, ME requires a Point4 Remote Interface Units, OxyGuard Commander Oxygen/Temperature Probe with spare membranes, electrolyte and cleaning pads, RIU3 with Sensorex differential ORP Sensor. All components must be compatible with the existing system and infrastructure of the current monitoring equipment, Inwater Technologies, Point 4 LC3 series controller Model no: LC3-120. RIUs.
OBJECTIVE: This system needs to be capable of measuring temperature, dissolved oxygen, and oxidation-reduction potential (ozone levels) from remote units in a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS). The supplied equipment must be able to connect and communicate with their existing monitoring system and alarm system.
All interested parties who can supply the requested water quality monitoring equipment as described above shall provide an email response to this notice and include the following: Company Name, Address, Point of contact, Phone, Fax, and Email, DUNS number, Cage Code, Tax ID Number, Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business.
Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. USDA ARS will not pay for information received in response to the Sources Sought.

All responses must be received no later than Thursday, July 27, 2022, by 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Times (EST) local time.
