This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2023-02 (Effective 03/16/2023) and DFARS Change Notice 20230322 (Effective 03/22/2023). The NAICS code is 811310. The small business size standard is $12.5 Milion. The Government intends to negotiate and award the resulted contract on a SOLE SOURCE basis to Thermwood Corporation (CAGE Code: 7J070).

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to provide preventative maintenance services to five (5) different models of automated machine tooling through a sole source solicitation to Thermwood Corporation (CAGE Code: 7J070). Thermwood Corporation does not authorize any other company to provide preventive maintenance or emergent repairs. Thermwood Corporation owns, and does not license, the design information that is required to fully maintain, and repair the equipment. The period of performance for this contract is 6/06/23-6/05/24, with four (4) option years from 6/06/24 - 6/05/25, 6/06/25 - 6/05/26, 06/06/26 - 06/05/27, 06/06/27 - 06/05/28.
