This is a sources sought notice only. No solicitation is being issued at this time.



This notice is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice.



Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY) is seeking to lease a temporary HVAC system & Exhaust system. This system is intended to provide continuous tempered air to an industrial work environment, to provide fresh outside air exchanges, to provide exhaust for scavenging effluent fumes from industrial processes, and to maintain positive pressurization with respect to the external environment of the conditioned space.



The system must include multiple HVAC Units, Industrial Exhaust Blowers, two Chillers, Chilled Water Pumps, chilled water hose manifolds, hose assemblies as well as the associated onboard controls to operate both the chilled water system, HVAC units and exhaust blowers. All equipment conveying air to and from the industrial space must be pre-wired with remote E-Stop capability in order to provide a means to secure airflow in the event of an emergency response. The intent of the chillers, pumps, hose assemblies, manifolds and ancillary components is to establish two separate temporary chilled water systems serving all of the HVAC cooling coils.

The issuance of this sources sought notice does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract or purchase order for this requirement. The Government is not liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement for any costs incurred for preparing responses to this notice.



The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking sources who may potentially have the ability to fulfill lease a temporary HVAC system & Exhaust system in Kittery Maine. Please see the attached Statement of Work for requirement details and specification as well as the Spec and Schedule attachment.



Work to be performed Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Kittery, ME. Approximate Period of Performance is 8/25/2023 to 8/28/2025.
