The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to negotiate a firm fixed price requirements type contract for various components and quantities of Excel Scaffolding material as identified in the current Excel Modular Scaffold Standard Component Technical Manual. A complete list of material, quantities, and known part number references will be included as an attachment to the solicitation. The intent of this posting is to provide an advanced notice of the forthcoming solicitation. Any resulting contract will consist of a one-year base period and four, one-year option periods. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed five (5) years. Excel Modular Scaffolding (93D98) is the only known source of this material at this time. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 332323, Ornamental and Architectural Metal Work Manufacturing. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 5440, Scaffolding Equipment and Concrete Forms. This procurement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and acquired in accordance with the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Products, and Commercial Services and FAR Part 15 – Contracting by Negotiation. Inspection/Acceptance at Destination and the requested FOB point is Destination. Delivery location: Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME 03904 and Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Detachment Point Loma, San Diego, CA 92106.
